About us
Craft Table Studios was created to develop and shepherd projects across all forms of media, with a focus on innovation and creativity. Currently, we are excited to move our unique children’s property from development into production. Our universe is an engaging blend of fun and quirky characters who navigate a world filled with adventure and friendship, appealing to both kids and parents alike. We will launch the graphic novel series in 2026, followed by a community web portal that fosters interaction and creativity among fans. In 2027, we will expand the universe with an interactive game and an imaginative toy line that brings these beloved characters to life, making it a truly multifaceted and immersive experience for children.
Founders
David Prescott
David Prescott has been widely recognized across disciplines for his creative and innovative approach to filmmaking in live action and animation. He joined Digital Domain in its infancy and worked on such projects as Titanic, What Dreams May Come, X-Men, Fight Club and Transformers. Dreamworks Animation brought David onboard to utilize his innovative approach to film making working with Peter Ramsey as Visual Effects Supervisor on Rise of the Guardians. David’s creative and technical strength serves in working to put filmmakers together and help bring new stories to life with creative innovation in storytelling. Over his career he has built and managed creative and technical teams, culminating in shifts of perception of how creative workflows maximize the work of his teams and companies.
Josh Schechter
Josh Schechter has a long history of creating synergy by successfully merging seemingly unconnected disciplines. With years of experience in almost all facets of production, including post-production work, Josh knows how to get a project from concept to completion. Josh developed a business model consisting of four quadrants of a property: 1) the book, 2) the graphic novel, 3) the feature/television show, and 4) the video game. In so doing, Josh has successfully brought together major studios, book and graphic novel publishers, and gaming, feature film, and television producers.
